The first and the easiest workout you can do with resistance bands are squats. When trying to do squats with your resistance band, all you need to do is place the resistance band around your thighs. Once you have your resistance band placed correctly, you can go ahead and do your squats are you normally would. Another workout you can do while having your resistance band around your thighs is lunges. If lunges are a bit difficult you can try hip thrusts. To do this workout, you simply have to place your resistance band around your thighs while you lay on your back.
Now you may think that you are only able to do lower body workouts but you are wrong. You can also use your resistance bands to work out your core. There are a number of different core-related exercises that you can do with your resistance bands. This includes sit-ups, push-ups, and planking. A resistance band doesn’t limit what you can do when working out. Instead, it adds resistance to your workout which in turn allows you to tone and even build muscle. So give it a try and see the difference.
