The beautiful nature is one of the most spectacular things to enjoy about Iceland. As it is located right below the Arctic circle, the summer nights are bright and visually enthralling. Seeing the midnight sun against looming mountains, snow-covered volcanoes and icy fields is truly a sight to behold. It is one of the best places to view lights, or aurora borealis. This celestial wonder draws tourists from around the world, intent on stargazing. There are multiple tours that specialize in capitalizing on the nature attractions that Iceland has to enjoy. Iceland is not called the “Land of Ice and Fire” for no reason. The country is chock-full of volcanoes, geysers and glaciers. The Vatnajokull glacier is the largest in Europe, measuring to a whopping 7099 km.

The Blue Lagoon is one of the biggest tourist attractions. A gigantic geothermal spa, it is full of breathtaking waterfalls and heated water which proves a wonderful stress-reliever. One of the most popular attractions is the Perlan Museum which captures Reykjavik’s rich history. The largest church is also located in the heart of the city. On the other hand, if you venture more on the adventurous side, you must consider visiting Gardabaer, which is full of nature reserves, hiking trails and other scenic outdoor spots.
