These days, our traveling adventures are seriously limited. The current health crisis is still raging on in many countries, and there’s no telling as to when it’s going to subside. However, just because we can’t hop on a plane to our dream destination right now, that doesn’t mean we can’t start planning for our next trip. In fact, dreaming up our next vacay is actually a really great way to pass the time. One country that offers an incredible travel experience is South Korea. This diverse country offers a range of adventures, and a delicious cusine to boot.
The first place to start out a journey through South Korea is in the country’s capital city of Seoul. This city is bursting with things to see and do, ranging from impressive historical sites to trendy art hotspots and cafes. One of the things that really stands out about Seoul is its modern architecture. This can be seen through buildings like the Dongdaemun Design Plaza and the Kring Kumho Complex.

Another thing that this country is known for is its food. South Korean cuisine has gained popularity around the world due to its exceptionally flavorful nature. However, the best place to try authentic South Korean dishes is, of course, in South Korea itself. For a unique experience, try a Korean barbeque dinner, which consists of different kinds of meat and vegetables which diners typically grill themselves at mini table-side grills. Some other local delicacies to try are Bibimbap, Tteokbokki rice cakes, and Kimchi, a side dish made of fermented vegetables.
For a quick getaway from the city, there are plenty of lovely day trips from Seoul, as well as other beautiful natural sites across the country. For those staying in the capital city, a great place to visit is the Bukhansan National Park. Visitors can spend the day roaming the forests and temples around the park, which is the perfect way to escape the bustling city noise. South
