The Venice Film Festival is a much-awaited event each year. From the star-studded crowd to the stunning fashion, it’s a celebration meant to wow, and it definitely does. This year, the annual event looked a bit different than previous years due to the current social distancing restrictions. However, that didn’t stop the guests from putting on quite a show. Here are some of the top looks from the festival.

Tilda Swinton

Tilda Swinton is known for her bold looks on the red carpet. And her appearance at this year’s Venice Film Festival was no different. The Scottish actress perfectly lived up to her stylish reputation with this minimal chic look,  complete with statement mules and a flashy gold mask that was totally appropriate for the current climate.

Claudia Conte totally stunned in a sequined red gown with a plunging neckline. The Italian actress and writer completed the look with a pair of strappy white sandals, simple gold jewelry, and a red face mask that was perfectly coordinated with her dress. Conte wore the mask draped on her arm as she posed on the red carpet, proving that safety can indeed be stylish.

It’s no surprise to see veteran actress Cate Blanchett walking the red carpet at this year’s Venice Film Festival. However, this year, the Australian actress wasn’t merely a guest; Blanchett was appointed President of the Jury. Naturally, she showed up in some of her most memorable looks to date, including this elegant navy and white frock – accessorized with a face mask, of course.
