The Perfect Mother's Day Brunch
Mother’s Day is around the corner and it’s safe to say most of us still haven’t found the perfect gift to give our moms. It’s the same thing every year, we know this day is coming, we feel the pressure of finding the one perfect present to give our mothers, but we never find any object that’s perfect enough to show them how much we appreciate all they do for us. So this year, instead of buying your mom another gift, we would like to suggest you give her a culinary experience.

When it comes to brunch, there are many different recipes you could include in your menu for the day. You could stick to the breakfast route – croissants, bagels, pancakes, eggs – or you could skip straight to lunchtime recipes – such as crepes, sandwiches, and salads. If your mom is more of a morning person, how about preparing an early brunch? A few good recipes for this meal would be shakshuka, avocado toast, muffins, french toast, and even good, old scrambled eggs. Add a jar of orange juice and some fruits to this banquet and your Mother’s Day brunch is all set.
Now, if your mom is not a fan of waking up early or breakfast food, do not worry. The beauty of brunch is that it can be whatever you want it to. Here are some of our favorite lunch-like recipes to make any brunch feel like a special occasion: brie and apple tart, mixed green and herb toss salad, roasted asparagus and ricotta tart, frittata, and our all-time favorite, a homemade quiche Lorraine.
