After the COVID-19 lockdown, a lot of people have been used to having a home office and working hybrid. Some people have completely moved to work remotely because there are several remote job opportunities as well. After the lockdown started, several companies have initiated hybrid working or have introduced remote roles. Companies realized that people could work from home as well and their productivity wouldn’t get affected. However, to maintain your productivity, you need to have a comfortable home office space as well. It can be an entire room or a corner in a room. Your home office space should give you a better if not the same environment as your workplace at your home.

For a comfortable home office space, you need to get a comfortable office chair that is adjustable as well because you would need to spend long hours sitting on it. There are several office supply stores where you can get a good office chair from. For an office table, you can check IKEA according to the available space you have. But it should have sufficient space to place your laptop, tech accessories, printer, stationery, etc. On the other hand, you should have a calendar and a soft board/whiteboard as well. It’s better to jot down ideas rather than write them in a Word file. A calendar will help you keep updated with your different deadlines and commitments. Once you complete deadlines, you can tick them off. That might motivate you to keep putting in extra effort while working from home.

As it will be a designated office space in your home, you won’t have to worry about working from home because the set-up would be available for you every day. Lastly, it is better to have a comfortable working style where you can work according to your preferences as well.
