Whenever anyone thinks of art and culture, a mental association is drawn between the words and Europe. Indeed, Europe has a rich history when it comes to art, and their efforts to preserve this history in museums attract a staggering number of tourists each year. Moreover, while it attracts a wide range of tourists, those with a particular fondness for Spanish art will feel right at home here surrounded by the works of Velasquez, Murillo, and the likes.

Lastly, the National Gallery in London is a definite must-visit location if you ever find yourself in the UK. It stands tall as one of the premier destinations for art enjoyers and is entirely free to the general public. This means that enjoying great art by renowned artists like da Vinci, van Gogh and Michelangelo does not come with a price tag. Another great aspect of the National Gallery is that it lies in the heart of London and so the average tourist need not go out of their way to visit it.
