Willingly sitting in a bath of ice can seem crazy. After all, why would you want to it literally sit in a bath of ice? Fortunately, there are a number of benefits to ice baths after a good workout. These benefits are exactly why so many athletes do it. Now even though there are a few benefits to doing this, it doesn’t mean that you should dive in headfirst. There are safety measures that need to be taken. Let’s unpack it all right here.
