Sometimes, after a long hard work week, all we need is a little self-care to destress. You don’t have to book expensive treatments at a spa, in fact, a simple DIY pampering session has the potential to be just as relaxing. So put on your favorite playlist, light up a candle and enjoy your spa at the comfort of your own home.

To increase circulation and achieve smooth, glowing skin, make yourself a matcha mask with ingredients from your pantry. You will need equal parts water, matcha or green tea, honey, and olive oil. After mixing all ingredients, apply the mask to your face and leave it on for 10 minutes.

Foot Soak

To soften up your foot skin, this is a great and simple exfoliant you can make at home. In a tub of warm water, add one to three cups of vinegar, squeeze one to three lemons, and add three cups of Epsom salt. Soak your feet for a few minutes, then use a pumice stone or exfoliating brush to complete your exfoliation.

This body scrub recipe has been around for many years, and for a good reason. Sometimes, the simpler, the better. All you need for this DIY body scrub is equal parts brown sugar and an oil of your choice – some all-time favorites are coconut, jojoba, almond, or grapeseed oils.

Pick a nail polish color you never dared to try. If you usually go for nude hues, this is your moment to experiment with a black polish. If you usually go for darker tones, try a lighter one this time.
