One of which is walking. Walking has been a part of physical fitness for many years. This is because it doesn’t cost you anything and it is a very flexible exercise that you can do. Now thanks to the modern workings of technology, you can now count the number of steps you take each day. You can do this with your watch and even with your cell phone. With that said, you are allowed to set a step count you would like to reach each day. So how many steps should you be taking each day to stay fit and healthy? Well, there are a number of things that contribute to how many steps you should be taking each day. This includes your level of fitness, the state of your health, and well how much time you have.
However, there really isn’t a set amount of steps that you should be talking about. The great thing is that you can set yourself weekly or even monthly challenges. If you are starting out, starting with ten thousand steps is a great start. If you are a very busy person you will be able to achieve ten thousand steps easily. Once you have achieved your step count for the week, you may want to set a new goal that will be a bit more challenging. You can easily increase your step count by another ten thousand steps and simply increase it from there.
