As we know, fashion is all about recycling old trends, and the mullet, popularized in the ’70s, is now making its comeback. This trend has recently become popular once again since pop star Miley Cyrus decided to reinvent the haircut, giving it a new name: the ‘modern mullet’.

Here is another ’70s trend making its return to the spotlight this season. This is the time for all curly girls to shine with their stylish face-framing bangs. Inspired by actress Natasha Lyonne in the show ‘Russian Doll’, women from all over the world have been giving this haircut a try. Word of advice: tell your hairdresser to cut your hair dry, so it holds the texture you normally wear.

Girls with straight hair, don’t worry! There is a trend for everyone this season. Coming back from the ’60s and ’70s, curtain bangs have been spotted on many celebrities, including Hilary Duff, Jennifer Lopez, and Gigi Hadid. The best part about curtain bangs: this low-maintenance haircut does not require many visits to the hairdresser. If you just let them grow out, they will simply become beautiful face-framing layers.
