Many people don’t like salads because they think that it looks like rabbit food. Now you aren’t wrong in thinking that but gone are the days where all a salad was, was lettuce. Thanks to veganism and vegetarianism, you have a wide variety of salads to choose from. With that said, there are a number of salads that don’t even include vegetables. When going to a restaurant you will be surprised that the wide variety of salads available to you. But that’s not all. Many salads made today can and are considered to be meals on their own. With that said you no longer have to order salads as a side for your meal. Here are just a few different types of salads.

If you are looking to get your daily dose of protein and vegetables then a chicken salad is exactly what you need. That’s right, you don’t have to order your chicken separately from your salad. You can now get them together. If you are also looking for it to be a bit healthier, you can have a grilled chicken salad. With this salad, the check is prepared separately from the salad. In many cases your chicken will be seasoned, then grilled and once it is ready it will be cut into strips and added to your salad. There are a number of different dressings you can add to your meal.

A chicken salad is considered to be a much healthier alternative than many other chicken dishes. You will be pleased to know that you don’t only have to settle for chicken only. There are a number of different proteins you can add to your salad. This includes fish, steak, and even beans. Bean-based salads have become increasingly popular among people because of how healthy it is and because they can even be made at home.
