It’s almost a new year and we have all been enjoying decorating our trees, wrapping gifts, eating tasty holiday foods, and watching Christmas movies. If you are starting to run out of film ideas, don’t fret – here are some of the best Christmas movies that you can watch this holiday season.

A classic for all ages! This 1965 animated television special is heartwarming and hilarious – and most importantly, has a great message. If you’ve never seen A Charlie Brown Christmas, we strongly recommend you give the first TV special based on Charles M. Schulz’s Peanuts a try.

This is another wonderful story to watch this holiday season. Polar Express is a movie about a boy who doesn’t believe in Santa Claus and while he is sleeping on Christmas Eve, the Polar Express comes and takes him to the North Pole where Santa Claus is. It’s a great movie for the whole family.

How the Grinch Stole Christmas

Based on Dr. Seuss’s 1957 book, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, this movie is a fantastic choice for the holiday season. The characters are so well depicted that the film won the Academy Award for Best Makeup and received nominations for Best Art Direction and Best Costume Design. Besides, this was actually the first Dr. Seuss book to be adapted into a full-length feature film.
