Celebs Who Opted For Non-Traditional Engagement Rings
The whole concept of weddings is traditional. From the white gown to the bride and groom’s vows, some things never seem to change. However, sometimes people like to switch things up just a bit, and that makes all the difference. Here are some stars who opted for non-traditional engagement rings, and totally pulled it off.

This is a ring we would definitely recognize from a mile away. Berry’s rustic emerald engagement ring was handmade by the famous French jeweller Robert Mazio. Apparently, it includes ‘Phoenician codes’ that have special meaning for Berry and her then-husband Oliver Marinez. The two are currently in an ongoing divorce case.

Like most engagement rings, Longoria’s ring includes some shiny diamonds. However, they aren’t the main feature. The actress’s ring is made up of a large ruby that is surrounded by a halo of smaller diamonds. The band itself is set in platinum. Definitely a unique look!

Kate Middleton’s engagement ring is probably one of the most famous non-diamond rings ever. Actually, it’s probably one of the most famous rings, period. The 12-carat Ceylon sapphire ring was passed down to her from her late mother-in-law Diana, Princess of Wales. We’re sure Middleton was thrilled to inherit such a beautiful and sentimental family heirloom.
