Billie Eilish’s Music

Billie Eilish is an American singer and songwriter, she firstly gained fame for her song ‘Ocean Eyes’ which became very popular. She was born and raised in Los Angeles and was home schooled until the age of 8. After that she joined the children’s Choir and developed the amazing vocals for her songs. Billie is one of the youngest singers who has won a Grammy in 2020 which is a huge accomplishment. Billie is only 18 but has surpassed the records set by the previous singers of her age. She has also been an active member to spread body positivity, when she came into the industry, she was bullied for her weight and people criticized her choice of clothes.

Billie responded to all of this hate by saying that women are expected to be perfect but at the end of the day, we are all humans and have faults. She has collaborated with many great singers like Khalid for the song ‘Isn’t it Lovely’, this song became an international phenomenon. Khalid’s husky voice with Billie’s angelic vocals made the song something which cant be described in words. Her collaboration with Justin Bieber was an iconic one. ‘Bad Guy’ is an amazing song which has a very catchy tune. Billie Eilish also has excellent style with her creating her own trends like having neon colored hair made her more famous among the teenagers. She is a true inspiration for the people who think talent is enough for you to succeed. She is also a very kind hearted and has donated to many charities. She has spoken openly about depression in her interviews and says that as teenagers we experience a lot of stress from parents, school and friends. Her motive is to console others through her music and help them heal.
