Physical fitness has been a priority for many people for a long time. In fact, different forms of exercise have been around for decades. You have to remember that gyms are not that new. Now aerobics is probably one of the most popular group activities around. It was especially popular in the early 70s through the 90s. Then, people could participate by joining a class at a gym or a dance studio. Now, things have obviously changed.
With that in mind, you may have seen movies with people participating in aerobics, and now you want to join in on the fun. Luckily for you, you can. Although aerobics has changed from when it first began, you can still get your fitness in the 21st century. When It comes to Fitness no one really wants to work out alone. That’s why aerobics classes became so popular, it wasn’t really about the workout you had to do.

Many people find it entertaining because you would have this instructor in front of the class teaching around 20 to 30 people at a time. But that’s not the reason why aerobics was so popular. Aerobics became popular because it involved loud upbeat music which would make you forget that you were even working out, with that said aerobics classes were almost like dance classes. The moves were very quick and usually went with the beat.
Now you will be pleased to know that you can still sign up for aerobics classes if you want to, because there are still some gyms that offer aerobics classes. All you have to do is enquire about the gym. Now because we live in a more modern time you will notice that aerobics classes in the 17 and aerobics classes in the 2000s are somewhat different. The basic principles still apply but the music has definitely changed. There is one more thing that has changed about aerobics. you can now do it from the comfort of your home. That’s right, if you don’t see yourself going to the gym there are a number of different aerobics videos and DVDs you can purchase.
